Our Favorite Chefs
Gordon Ramsay: I'm going to start with a fucking AWESOME Scottish chef named Gordon Ramsay! He is the star of Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares UK and Kitchen Nightmares US (I perfer UK because nothing is bleeped out, lol). He is an incredible talent in the kitchen, he owns many dining establishments and has authored a pile of books. I LOVE the fact that he is painfully honest and takes no shit. If you have no respect and obedience in a kitchen, you have nothing and he understands this. Plus, he has the same GORGEOUS color blue eyes as my husband... must be a Scot thing. I love him!
Martha Stewart: Martha is my idol... totally. She is successful, independent, smart and crafty! What more could you ask for!? I have TONS of her books and magazines. Hubby and I particularly enjoy the "Everyday Food" monthly magazine, it has lots of good recipes. Everyone knows who Martha is, so I won't go into too much explaination. lol. All of her shows, etc. are accessible through her website. I love her many unique ideas for party food and desserts!
Anthony Bourdain: Tony Bourdain just doesn't give a fuck! LOL. He wants to travel, live and eat well and you know screw you if you can't take it. He is a very proficient chef and author, as well as the host of The Travel Channel's No Reservations. He is a true food adventurer, he puts some stuff in his mouth that I wouldn't even touch with gloves on! LOL. I love the show though and have learned a lot from it. I don't consider myself to be a picky eater, but I've become more open to trying "weird" stuff since I started watching
Giada: What is NOT to like about this woman? She is a good cook, she isn't overbaring and obnoxious like some other female TV chef that if I hear her voice one more time I will claw my eyes out (*cough* Rachael Ray *cough*). She is also incredibly beautiful! I love some of her rustic Italian recipes. I saw one the other day for a berry tart that looked delicious! She has a couple of cookbooks out and is the host of Food Network's Everyday Italian.
