I'm not going to write a whole lot about this trip, it was fun, but many, many things went wrong! LOL. None really the fault of Disney, just normal travel bullshit. Like I said though we did have fun; the shows were awesome, the parks were beautiful, the food was outstanding and the hotel was amazing.
We stayed at the amazing Animal Kingdom Lodge! Beautiful and you can see the animals right from your balcony. They had an enormous, beautiful pool area and a hot tub... I'd never been in a hot tub before, it was huge - like a small pool... it felt good after being in the rain all day and sore.
We managed to get there at the right time for the International Food & Wine Festival at Epcot... It was great! They had so much stuff everywhere and the Sam Adams Beer School was great too. Trab really enjoyed that. We ate dinner one night at the Hollywood Brown Derby at MGM... FABulous.
One night we saw Cirque de Soliel La Nouba. IT WAS AWESOME!!! As good as everyone says it is. Really! The tickets were included in our package (which covered all our food, tours, lodging, everything) We loved Epcot as always and took the Behind the Seeds tour which shows you how they grow all their hydroponic veggies. Trab wants to try it when we move! LOL.
We walked around Downtown Disney a little but not a lot, we were SO tired from having just moved that we really spent a decent amount of time slepping instead of GO GO GO like normal. It was a very laid back vacation. Plus, the weather sucked and every night we came home drenched to the bone.
