We lived outside of Chicago for a short period of time in a town called Great Lakes. While we enjoyed having a little time together, GL was... well... not a place we particularly enjoyed. However, we took a few trips into the city and enjoyed them greatly!
We went to the Field Museum next to Soldier Field and had a great time. There were SO many things to see. We walked around Union Station, the Magnificent Mile, saw the John Hancock building, the Water Tower, The Bean, etc. We ate at Lawry's The Prime Rib and LOVED it!!! It was AWESOME!
The best time was when we went with our friend Ryan. He is funny and kept us laughing. We miss him. I did have a lot more photos of Downtown, but they fell victim to a HD malfunction immediately after I transfered them off of my XD card and had already deleted them. GOSH!
On other days we just drove around and looked at the different neighborhoods and saw some really cools stuff. We also attended the Beer on the Pier beer festival at the Navy Pier with Trav's Dad.
