San Antonio, TX | 2004

Blar. Went here to visit my exhusband while he was in A School. We spent less than a day together total and I honestly had way more fun hitting the town alone than I did hanging around him. LOL

Even though Trab says he hated San Antonio when he was there, I LOVED it! Sure it was hot, but it was beautiful! I stayed directly across the street form The Alamo at the fucking AWESOME Emily Morgan Hotel. The bar inside the hotel in completely made of agate and they light it from underneath. The room was... OUTSTANDING... the entire hotel, from the drain covers outside to the shower curtain was beautiful. It even has a stainless steel swimming pool!

Most of the time I was by myself and would go out in the late afternoon/evening and take photos (which were all lost due to my woderful exhusband's stupidity) and just walk around. Everywhere you turn there was something awesome to take a picture of! Everything was sooooo pretty!

The day he was around we ate lunch at Fuddrucker's and went to Ripley's Believe It or Not? (where the military discount made our price $2 higher than the normal price, lol) and took the Riverwalk Boat tour. We ate dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe where the waiter dropped a plate and splashed my entire white outfit with KETCHUP and not only refused to appologize, but the manager said he would pay the $8 to clean my sweater only and couldn't make the waiter applogize because he was so popular with the customers. My exhusband, being the prince among men that he is, did nothing. lol.

That night we took the Ghosts & Legends of San Antonio Tour and he went back to the base. I flew home the next morning. I would not be opposed to returning if I could take Trab with me and if we could go in the Winter. lol.
